Structure, 2017
The world I live in is like an aggregation of countless points. Between these points, there exists an infinity of invisible lines, forming a vast functional network. By following these lines, one begins to see that their organization is governed by rules: what appears random at first glance is, in fact, carefully ordered, like a tightly woven mesh. These lines correspond to the structure that constitutes the world. They invite us to ask fundamental questions: Who am I, and where do I come from?
This work begins with a question : Where am I?
That question led me to study the social group to which I belong, as well as nature. From this emerged a pattern that can be understood either as the perpetual branching of connections extending from a single entity, or, on the contrary, as a configuration in which countless entities support and sustain the summit.
This form was created organically using cable ties—solid, unbreakable materials—connected together like a woven net.
