Just as there are forests on earth, there are also forests in the sky.
They are starry forests made of light.
The forest of stars is always there, but it reveals itself only at night.
Night acts as a bridge connecting these two spaces.
What is the distance between them?
There is a method used by astronomers to calculate the distances between celestial bodies.
It is called the “cosmic distance ladder,” or in other words, a scale.
Using objects from the forest, I created a series of different steps.
This mysterious cosmic ladder becomes an indicator of our position—nothing more than a single point in the vast universe—linking where we are to the world beyond.
