Dreaming of Space, 2023
I wanted to tell a story. It is a fiction in which the main character has a naïve desire to go into space.
By trying little by little, using rudimentary means, he gradually discovers the world and the universe.
There are three characters in the story.
First, there is the main character, who resembles me. He is stubborn, and once he has a goal, he can think of nothing else. He wants to go all the way, and he dreams of space.
Second, there is the observatory character. He also wanted to go into space a long time ago, but he gave up on that dream.
Third, the computer is also considered a character. It acts as an intermediary between the first two characters. It is both a helper and a manipulator, as well as an important key that leads the first character toward the observatory.
In fact, the first and second characters are opposites, but they also reflect one another like a mirror.
In each chapter, I refer to certain scientific theories and artistic references. I drew inspiration from this research as a way of approaching the universe, and I present it in a metaphorical way.
